Move to Sioux North High School
Move to Sioux North High School

Dear Parent/ Guardian,

We are thrilled to announce that we will be moving to the new Sioux North High School March 18th, 2019!! In order to accommodate the move as smoothly as possible we will be planning a full day of transition for the 18th. Busses will drop students off at the new school and we ask they walk to the QEDHS site and meet in the gym. If you are dropping your student off please do so at QEDHS. From here we will transition students grade by grade to the new Sioux North School. During the transition time there will be many events and activities at the Queen Elizabeth site for students to have the opportunity to say goodbye to QE.

Transition times are as follows:

  • Grade 9, 9:00 walk to Sioux North
  • Grade 10, 10:00 walk to Sioux North
  • Grade 11, 12:30 walk to Sioux North
  • Grade 12, 1:30 walk to Sioux North

Students will be dismissed from our new school Sioux North, at the regular dismissal time on March 18th and buses and parents will pick students up from this location.

school drop off and pick up site

Some upcoming dates to remember:

  • Tuesday March 19th is a Late Start Day
  • Progress Reports will be sent home with students our first week in the new building!
  • March 21st from 4:00-6:30 Parent Teacher Interviews will take place at the new Sioux North School. Come and meet your students teacher and see our new building! Tours will be available.

Students must clean out their locker and hand in their lock to the Main Office BEFORE they leave for March Break.

Our Phone number will remain the same (807) 737-3500, and updates will be posted on the Sioux North Facebook Page and our website http://siouxnorth.kpdsb.on.ca.

Thank you for your support as we undertake this historic move!
